BUS vs. CAR
Round one: Bus

That's about how I feel right now. Week two of school is drawing to a close and I feel like I've been hit with a Mack truck. Class is good, our teacher, Chef Smith is strict but she's also pretty easy going too. However, being that I don't know anyone in the class, I feel like a bit of an outsider. Not that I'm part of the in crowd by any means in my normal life but this just seems to emphasise it. They all know each other from their first year whereas everyone from my first year is long gone. this is what happens when it takes five years to compleate a three year course. You get lost.
We haven't done any shop work yet but that starts next week with cookies. Fairly easy to make and yet also incrediably easy to futz up. Fingers crossed people.
In other news, my car is fixed and out of the shop. I get to pick it up on Sunday.
Most importantly however, I must say this one thing:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSH!!!!!

I realize I'm two days late but I did say it to you on the phone on the actually day. Love you babe!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

2007 was kicked off in my family by a geekfest at my parents house. There was finger foods for dinner , followed by opening some presents and then kicking the little kids off to bed at roughly 10pm so us older children could watch a movie. The cinematic selection of the night was Frank Herbert's Dune. This was of course the made for TV mini series. Sadly though, we only made it to the end of the first DVD before I started to fall asleep and everyone had butt cramps from sitting for two hours. We missed the countdown to the new year by three minutes, yelled a belated greeting at the top of our lungs and then went back to our movie. The passing out and cramps happened about an hour and a bit after that.

But that was my New Year's Eve in a nut shell.

I love you Josh. Happy New Year, baby.
