Thank god for little sisters!!!
Due to me really not paying attention to my bank account again, I was in danger of having my car insurance cancelled due to late payment. My little sisters just agreed to lend me the money to pay it. I love them to pieces! muah! Hugs and kisses to them both!
A slightly more serious note, Nicole's not been doing so well the last couple of days. No one's sure what's wrong with her but she's in pain though she only admits to it if we keep asking. Doctor's haven't told her anything yet, which we figure means they're as clueless as we are. Also, Erin's been having a crappy time too, but her problems are more of the emotional sort. In the section of things I didn't know before, Erin's on anti-depressants. This kinda explains her behavior sometimes.
Side note, that puddle still looks tempting.

There's a playground just behind my apartment building. "Spring" thaw has started and this playground is currently dominated by two huge puddles. One is directly underneath and surrounding the playground equipment. The other is right behind where we park our cars. Each day I come home from work, get out of my car and am suddenly so very tempted to revert back to my childhood and go jump in the puddles. What deters me is that both of these puddles look to be about a good foot and a half deep and they're going to be freezing cold. Not that those facts ever stopped me when I was younger. I really really want to go play in the puddles. However, I don't want pneumonia. Tough choices.

It's been a while since I've made an update. Mostly because I keep forgetting about this thing. So here we go, an update.
I was lucky enough to get this weekend off, which of course is much happy for me. But, not only was it a weekend off, it's a weekend off after payday! Very happy! And so without further ado I present the theater production, live from Broadway: Three Co-op girls go to the city.

The play opens on Monday, with myself, Erin and Nicole noting that we all have Saturday off, this leads to much scheming amongst our heroines. The plans begin to form. First there was talk of a movie night on Friday. However Erin was informed that she had a dentists appointment in Edmonton Sat morning so there went that idea. Which lead to my suggestion. How about a day in the city? Just us girls, our wallets and the mall. Apparently I had come up with a great plan. So the rest of the week was spent refining it. Friday, the last details are in place, Sarah has allowed us to borrow her husbands cell phone in case of emergencies and even better, Nicole has dickered to get out of working on Sunday. We're all set. Cast exits stage left.

New scene: Curtain rises on Saturday morning.
After waking, showering and munching down a couple of muffins I think I'm about ready to go. Or not... A ten minute search for my keys and a phone call from Nicole later, I'm out the door. Get to Nicole's house. Then off to put gas in car and coffee in us. Half hour later, we're on the highway and heading to Edmt. Life is good. Erin won't be joining us at the mall until later thanks to dentist appointment. No big deal though, Nicole and I won't be at the mall until about noon anyways. Amazingly enough, we get there just fine, no mishaps or getting lost. Wander in the doors and off we go. First stop, Artemis. A very bad idea. This is a store that specializes in all things Oriental and Nicole and I are all about the Eastern stuff. Dresses, sarongs, little shirts, jade rings, statues of Buddha, water fountains and even little geisha dolls! We're in heaven and hell at the same time. I think we each found about fifteen items that we'd love to buy but couldn't afford. We finally drag ourselves out of that store and head for the next. La Senza. This store being... lingere! Much fun there. Spring is here, the bright colors are out and I was so tempted to put my sunglasses back on in the store. Lots of bright green and yellow. After a few minutes of browsing we find our perchases. Nicole's in lime green and both of mine in hot pink. Shocking I know. But I need something other than black at times. HMV comes next, where I pick up the Golden Age of Grotesque by Marilyn Manson. From there we simply wander the mall. Meet up with Erin at 2:30 and it's back to La Senza because Erin wants to get something too. Then off to MAC to get make-up for Nicole. I drag them both to Chapters only to find out that this store doesn't have a copy of Frank Herbert's Dune, but Cole's does. Off to Cole's then to get Dune and Dune Messiah. After that a quick stop at Ben Moss jewllers to get a new link for my bracelet and to get my ring finger sized. 5.5 is what I am. And now, off to Whyte ave!!
The trip there goes well. Erin only got us slightly off track but we found it. Now we're here and suddenly everybody has to go to the bathroom and wants food. But first and more importantly we want to go to Warped One. I'm happy to see that they have book 12 of Rebirth so I snatch that one up. Not so happy to learn that the boxset for Full Metal Panic is $250. Maybe next time? Fullmetal Alchemist isn't quite out yet which is just as well other wise I'd be out on a street corner living in a cardboard box. Now it's off to Sanctuary, a Gothic shop. We drool over the clothes, hiss at the price tags and then finally Erin and I discover the leather chokers. We each get a nice black on with Celtic medallions on them. Nicole got Nightmare before Christmas nesting dolls. Now to Mars and Venus, a punk/retro shop. Didn't find anything there. Then we go to the Elephant and Castle Pub. BATHROOM BREAK!! Everybody's happy now, then we get the food and stuff our faces. We wander the streets a little more and then go back to where we parked the car. And suddenly our play turns into a tradgedy. Stupid me, I went and left the bloody lights on. Car's dead as can be. Thank god for that cell phone. Erin's boytoy Matt is in the city visiting his parents. So he agrees to come down and give us a boost. This gives us an excuse to go to Chapters on Whyte. Erin finds a book on rabbit care, Nicole's got some book about serial killers and I've got Children of Dune and God Emperor of Dune. By now I decide it's time to stop spending so I pass on getting Heretics and Chapterhouse. They'll have to wait for the next pay check.
Matt shows up, boosts the car and we go back to his parents place to relax for a little, and do some more reading.
Nicole and I get back to Veggieville about 11:30 or so, I drop her off at home and go back to my place. In bed by midnight. All in all a good day.

Angel: Lacks...Poetry.
Spike: Doesn't have to. What rhymes with lungs?
