Yay, make with the awesome swag!

So far this years gifts have been quite amusing. I got an AMA card from my grandparents, sure to come in handy at some point in time. My aunt gave me a new novel which I finished about two hours ago. Little sister Rebekah got me two liters of chocolate syrup, so very very ultra cool. But what am I going to do with that much chocolate sauce? Also got lots of little crap in my stocking. A camera and a Nemo toy. Very amusing. Of course I forgot it at my parents house so I'll be picking it up tomorrow. I'm not to sure what to do with the camera as I am not a big shutterbug. Naughty pics on Valentines days perhaps? I can think of something I guess. There was chocolate and oranges as well, which were very nice and tasty. Kirk gave me Pirates of the Caribbean on VHS, very nice of him. From Corwin I got a box of After Eights and a bottle of Captian Morgan's spiced rum. Waylon got me NeverWinter Nights, Final Fantasy Ten 2 and also gave me his copy of FF 10. Very generous of him and I shall love the games to peices. Here's hoping I actually finish FF X before I start X2.

Odd Christmas thing of the moment:

The Pyro's christmas song:
"Deck the halls with gasoline
Fa la la la la la la la la
Strike a match and watch it gleam
Fa la la la la la la la la
Watch it burning into ashes
Fa la la la la la la la la
Aren't you glad you played with matches
Fa la la la la la la la la?

Wow, another update with in two weeks! I'm doing good.

Nothing much as been going on as of late. One a plus note I went shopping with my cousin last Sunday and picked up a couple of new shirts and a manga. The shirts I got from Warehouse One: The Jean Store. They're both black and have some great sayings on them. One says "Do Not Distrub. I'm already disturbed enough." The other has really little print on it and reads "Come closer. So I can slap you!" I've worn both to work now and they are strangely apporpriate for the stuff that goes on.

On another plus note, this weekend is my uncle Mark's annual X-Mas party. My brother Matthew, sister Rachel and I will be bar tending for him. No Eddie, I am not getting smashed that night. Instead I will drink my eggnog, fix drinks for the other guests and get cranky around one am when the music starts to get annoying, at which point I will go home or over to parents house and find some way to keep my self entertained. LOTR might grab my attention again, who knows. But the party should be good and I always have fun seeing the people there.

On a bad note, this apartment is fucking freezing!!!! The heat must be gone or something. So on that, I'm going to find something warm to eat or drink. grrrrr.

Odd Christmas thing of the moment:

"Dashing through the snow.
On a pair of broken skis
O'er the hills we go
Crashing into trees
The snow is turning red
That means I'm almost dead
I'll wake up in the ICU
With stitches in my head"

Yay, finally an update. Now on the off chance that anybody even reads this, I'll say some stuff today.

I haven't been updating very often because, well to be frank, nothing happens in my life. However, you now get to hear about my embarassing moment of the day. For the last few weeks, I haven't been getting much sleep. Partially my own fault for staying up so late, partially just not tired. Today was different though. I was fine the whole drive to work and the first couple of hours. But then I went down to the office to print off the sheets for inventory, cause that's tomorrow. Sitting there, printing off files and suddenly I can't remember if I've already done that page or not. So I shrug and print it off, perhaps for the second time. Now the printer I'm using goes awefully slow and I need to do about twenty pages. Waiting, waiting, wow the screen's kinda fuzzy, waiting, hey didn't I already open that file?, waiting, and hell, I'm gonna lay my head on the desk and finish waiting like that. Yeah that was a really brillant idea. Next thing I know, the printer is long done, the computer's gone into stand by mode and I'm drooling on the desk. "Wha...? FUCK!" Look at the clock, realize I don't even know what time it was when I got to the office, grab the papers and run back to the bakery. By the time I got back, every one of the management staff knew what had happened and I got teased for the rest of the day. Wayne, our GM, told me that had he been there at the time, he would have set all the clocks ahead a couple of hours on me. On the plus side, I wasn't tired for the rest of the day.

Also fairly new, I am trying to decide what I am getting friends and family for Christmas. My family is doing a name related gift exchange this year and I got Catherine this time. But that won't be too hard. Anything to do with horses or anime should be close to what she wants. But everybody else..... gah, no idea or too many or what. Eddie, you won't even let me get you a card. Nicki, well I already got your gift but I need to put the finishing touches on it. Andrew, no idea. Michael, same thing. Kirk, money ought to be good. Waylon's getting Cowboy Bebop manga. Best friend Sasha? Maybe a ticket to the Renn Feast but not sure. Of course asking her might help. Dani's getting...... well I'm not sure yet. Mel's not getting anything until Valentines but she knows that already. And I just realized that even my girl friends have boyish sounding names. Meh. Anyways, you want something, let me know. I can afford it you'll get it for christmas. If not, then tell when your birthday is and maybe you'll get it then.

Odd Christmas thing of the moment:

"Lacey things, the wife is missing.
Didn't ask, for her permission
I'm wearing her clothes,
her silk panty hose.
Walking around in women's underwear."
