As promised, the update.

Born this morning at 7:42, wieghing 8 lbs and 14 oz and 21 inches long, little Haylie Christina Grace was welcomed into the world. I'm still not sure of her eye color as she was asleep, but she's got a nice headful of black fuzz. Mom is doing alright but has a bit of a fever. The doctors are hoping that it will clear up by tomorrow morning. I hope so too. But my body is screaming at me to get some sleep so I'll have to write more tomorrow. Night my pretties.

AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!! It's 4:10 in the morning and I was jolted from a very nice sleep by the sound of the phone ringing about twenty minutes ago. So what's my reaction? I jump out of bed, yelling "SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT!!" thinking I'm late for work. Just as I lunge at the kitchen phone I realize nobody at work knows my home number. Waylon's already on the cordless, looking really cranky. I check the caller ID and it's my parent's house. I get the cordless handed to me and it turns out to be my mom. My mom's in labour!!! Baby's on it way!!!!!! So now I'm like hyper as hell and can't wait till this afternoon. I wanna know what baby is. Boy or girl??
So I tell ya what, my pretty little friends. As soon as I get off work, I'll be updating again to let you know. w00t!!!!! ^jumps around, laughing^

Birthday stuff all over and done with, my life now goes on. I'm reminded of a ten second blurb of a Sigfried and Roy skit I saw on TV once. "Go to hell Roy." "I'm already there!!!" How true those words are. Again, the homicidial tendancies were high today. Seems some of the people in the bakery and deli don't like the way I write my schedules up. My response to them being three letters, K M A. I've gotten to the point where I just don't give a fuck anymore. I'm just plugging along from day to day, trying to get things made on time and made properly. Sometimes it doesn't work and I just couldn't care less. Which is ok until I realized that it's gotten bad enough that even if 'Rew, Eddie or Nicki were to show up at my door, my response would be "That's nice." Hell, the Vampire Lestat could be there, offering to change me and I'd just shrug and say "Yeah, whatever man." So that was my clue that my personal road trip to Hell is well on it's way. Now I just want to know when I can bloody well pull over for a pit stop. I'm on day 14, in a row, and my body's wanting to give out on me. I sat down for a couple minutes at work today on spare pail and nearly fell asleep right there. Thank god I'm getting Sunday off. I'm staying up late Saturday night and not getting up before noon Sunday. Sleep will be mine!!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

Hello, hello. News has finally happened in my boring life. As of yesterday at around 8:30 pm, I turned 21 years of age. At last 21 and now legally able to do everything I've been doing since I was 15. Well, ok, so maybe not, but yeah, I'm finally 21. It doesn't feel any different than 20 but then I haven't done anything much since yesterday. Though I did get some neat swag. Fifty dollars from my grandparents. It was supposed to be for a new coffee pot but I've decided that we need a bew toaster instead. A white rose from my parents along with a spiffy new winter coat. One of those neat three in one things. The kids bought me some cute little nicknacks for my shelves. But the best thing I got was from my best friend. Sasha bought me new bed sheets with Teddy Grahams on them. Very cute and highly useful. All in all, nice stuff. But it was very nice to be able to just spend my birthday with my friends and family. No going out, no being dragged off to a bar to get drunk. Just sit around, talk and be lazy for once. I really liked it. Thank you to all the people who have been friends with me through my few years on this mortal plane, I greatly appreciate you all and for all the times you've been there for me. Special thanks to Eddie, Nicki and 'Rew for putting up with my antics so many times. And to Waylon for having the patience to deal with having me as a roomie. You all rock.

There's not too much new stuff going on, other than my rapidly growing homicidal tendancies. Never before have I felt such a strong desire to kill things. My little underlings at the Co-op have been doing nothing but piss me off for the last week, actions which will soon take their toll. I've got two new staff members as of today as well. Hehehehe, fresh meat. Here's hoping I don't scare them off or something. Ah, well. I'm off to go visit the parent folk and siblings. Adios amigos.

Hello my pretties. Today I tell the story of me and the trip to Edmonton.
Yes, the weekend trip to EDMT was pulled off, though barely. Was much fun however. Friday night after work, showers and changing of the car oil, Way and I departed for the great capital of our province. (whee) We met up with Kashie, Em and RockGoddess at the Sands Hotel bar. It was Kareoke night and RG was DJing it. Had fun watching drunk people try to sing, though there were several people that actually sang quite well. Kashie, Em and RG being three of them, those girl got good voices. Then we went back to Kashie's house and finished watching The Time Machine with Chuck and Jay(more friends). I was then subjected to some odd cartoons called Space Ghost and The Brak Show. Strange to say the least. Saturday morning was spent bleary eyed on the couch upon which I slept, until everyone else was up. Then Kashie decided to make pancakes which was fun. As she didn't have a recipe, she ended up calling her grandmother to get one. That required writing it down. But there was no pen or paper to be found so she dug out her trusty laptop and typed it up. After breakfast, nummy pancakes, Way, Em and I decided to hit Whyte Ave for a little shopping and browsing. Took transit to get there. Damn train stops always have to be air conditioned. But once we got there it was worth it. First stop was the Celtic Shop. I wanted a new kilt pin but they didn't have the one I was looking for. Next was Mars and Venus, a quaint little punk store. Took a look at the armsbands and chokers, but didn't see anything that looked interesting. Wandered around a bit more, stopped and had "coffee"(Coke) at Naked On Whyte Netcafe. Then came the fun part. First, we went to Sancturay, this really neat little store. They sell all sorts of New Age and Occult stuff plus clothes, make up, art work, music and calanders. So I managed to pick up a calander of Spike, red hair mascara and red and blue lip liners. The calander is for me, I like Spike he's a bishie, the make up stuff is for my sister and cousin for halloween. Then we hit Warp One. It's a comic store and I was in heaven. I went straight to the manga section and just drooled. Bought myself the three latest issues of ParadiseKiss. Way got book three of Oh My Goddess for my sister Rachel and also purchased the DVD boxset of Neon Genesis Evangelion. The people at the store actually had to search to find it, which means he got the last one. Uber cool. So then we headed home, stopping by Subway to grab some munchies for supper. Then proceeded to watch the first four dics of NGE. Again, uber cool, but also uber fscked up!!!! I got so lost.
Sunday was time to hit The Mall aka West Edmonton Mall. As it was also time to leave for Lacombe by about 6 and Em wasn't awake, Way and I went by ourselves. Had a load of fun window shopping for the most part. Way picked up cargo pants at Supply Seargent and chocolate fudge from Rocky Mountian Chocolate Factory. I of course bought chocolate as well, a watch cap from SS, some glow in the dark tape and nail polish from, well, Glow, a poster from Millenium(LOTR i think it was). two Rammstein CDs and more posters at HMV and two comic books at Comic King. HMV was the really fun part though. Half the staff in the store must think I'm out of my ever loving mind. Went to look for Rammstein in the Industrial section where they always are. Snagged the CDs I wanted and was just turning away when something caught my eye. Take a closer look, dear god can it be? Look again. Holy shit it is! De/Vision CDS!!!!! So I'm jumping around, giggling insanely "D/V CDS, D/V CDS" over and over. Now Nicki, you would understand my behavior, the HMV staff, however, did not. I got a couple wierd looks as I was drooling over the CDs. You see, De/Vision CDs are very hard to come by in North America, as in, pretty much never found. And here's the really sucky part. By the time I'd found the CDs I was out of money to spend. ARGH!!!! Oh well. At least I got some Rammstein. Hopefully those D/V's'll still be there next time I go back. I'll buy them then.

Dear god it's been ages since I've updated. But let's face it, I'm pretty lazy when it comes to stuff like this. Not to mention very tired. There hasn't been to much going on lately, though one of these days I will post on what I did during my weekend in Edmonton. But that probably won't be until tomorrow. Adios amigos.
